The short answer
We run AEO Labs, and it is on this list, so read it as a list written by one of the agencies on it. We have put ourselves last, because we have no fintech or financial services case study and most of the agencies above us publish a compliance review step on their own fintech page. Every fact about another agency below comes from that agency's own website, checked on October 24, 2026. Where an agency does not publish something, we write "not published" and leave it there.
The lists that rank for this search today mostly put the author's own agency first, and none splits buyers by type, quotes a price from an agency page, or records what each agency says about compliance review.
There is no single best AEO agency for fintech. It depends on who you sell to and how much review your content needs:
- You sell software to banks and want AI answers monitored for compliance accuracy: DerivateX.
- You are B2B fintech and want a published price and a named AI result: Rock The Rankings.
- You are a consumer fintech (lending, payments, investing, personal finance): First Page Sage, the only one here that names those segments.
- You are a bank, credit union, insurer or wealth firm: nobody here publishes a page for you as the client. First Page Sage lists banking platforms, insurtech and wealth management as segments. Ask directly.
- You are a bigger brand with a content and PR budget: Siege Media.
- You want a fintech-only content shop with named LLM results: Mint Studios.
- You want the most detailed accuracy protocol in writing: Omnius.
- You want SEO and GEO together with a published minimum: Virayo.
- You have an in-house team and want a consulting model: Optimist.
- You want off-site citation work next to a specialist, or a 30-day sprint first: AEO Labs.

How we picked
We started from the fintech agency lists that rank for these searches and the agencies they keep naming, then added agencies with a dedicated fintech page that talks about AI search. We dropped the ones whose fintech page had no AI search content, whose AI page had no fintech content, or whose site would not load. That left eight plus us. For each we read the fintech page, the AI page, pricing, the about page and the case studies.
We compared six things, most of which the other lists skip:
- Compliance review. Does the agency say, on its own fintech page, how claims about rates, terms and regulation get checked before publishing?
- Segment fit. Who does it work with, and who does it turn away?
- Published price. Five of the eight other agencies publish one, Optimist only on its homepage. Where a site gives two figures, we print both.
- Contract terms. Month to month, a pilot, or a six-month term?
- Named AI results. A fintech client with an AI number, a portfolio average, or an SEO result?
- Off-site work. Trade press, finance publishers, G2 and comparison sites.

1. First Page Sage: best for consumer fintech and the widest segment list
What it is. First Page Sage is a remote US agency with a dedicated fintech SEO and GEO page. It calls itself the largest fintech-focused SEO firm in the country, with 164 fintech clients served and 43 active. The page says both "18 years" and "over 17 years" in fintech, so take it as 17 or 18.
What it does. A planning month of SEO, GEO and conversion audits plus a technical build-out, then six or seven deliverables a month: product and use-case pages, original research, comparison articles and brand authority PR, across Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
Segments. The only agency here that lists consumer segments by name: banking and lending platforms, payments and money movement, wealth management and investing, personal finance and credit, insurtech, and B2B financial software.
Compliance review. The clearest upstream commitment on the list. Every claim about rates, terms or regulation clears verification and your compliance review before it is published, every piece is archived, and the planning month sets up who reviews, what gets flagged and how approvals run. PR goes through the same review.
Proof. A portfolio figure: +66 percent increase in fintech client mentions in AI results. Its case quote is from the VP of Growth at an unnamed consumer lending platform and is about funded accounts, with no AI number.
Pricing and terms. Month to month, always. No price; the page says it prices for quality deliberately and is not a fit when the budget will not support senior-level work.
Limit. The AI result is a portfolio average with no named client, and there is no price.
2. Rock The Rankings: best for B2B fintech that wants a published price and a named AI result
What it is. Rock The Rankings is a US agency founded in 2018 by Justin Berg, who still leads delivery. It works only on B2B SaaS and tech, with 300+ engagements, and has a dedicated fintech SEO and GEO page.
What it does. A prompt map by buying-committee seat, compliance-safe content at 5 to 10 pieces a month, technical SEO (FinancialService schema, llms.txt), citation tracking across five engines, and attribution across long deal cycles. Off-site: fintech and banking trade placements (American Banker, Finextra, Payments Dive), G2 and Capterra, and 6 to 16 DR 50 to 80+ links a month inside the fee.
Segments. Fintech or lending software from Series A to D, $2 to 3M to $50M+ ARR: payments, lending, treasury, banking infrastructure, wealth, risk and compliance tooling. It excludes consumer finance apps, neobanks and crypto.
Compliance review. A week-one session with your compliance lead produces an approved-claims and banned-phrase library and a sourcing standard, with a legal review lane on a fixed SLA. Clients typically go from a six-week review cycle to three or four days.
Proof. The most specific fintech AI result here. Lendbuzz, an auto finance company, went from zero to 60 percent AI visibility across seven tracked engines in six weeks, and the page says it outranked Capital One and Bank of America on its core buying query.
Pricing and terms. Public, with two sets of figures. The fintech page shows 12-month rates: from $4,050, $6,885 and $12,600 a month. The pricing page shows 90-day rates: from $5,500, $8,650 and $15,000. Month to month is the full rate with 30 days' notice. Its AI Search Blueprint sprint is listed from $10,000, though the same page also calls the audit a $15,000 30-day sprint.
Limit. B2B only, and it turns away consumer fintech, neobanks and crypto. Two sets of prices and two audit figures: get the quote in writing before comparing it with anyone else.
3. Siege Media: best for bigger fintech brands with a content and PR budget
What it is. Siege Media is a content and digital PR agency with offices in Austin, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco, 50+ marketers in-house and 17,600+ content pieces published. Fintech is one of eight industry pages.
What it does. SEO and GEO consulting, finance-first digital PR, affiliate partnerships, content, research reports and calculators, which the page calls "citation magnets". The GEO programme opens with prompt-level citation mapping and a baseline LLM share-of-voice benchmark across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
Segments. The case clients run across the market: Bluevine (SMB banking), Stash (consumer investing), The Zebra (insurance comparison) and Hebbia (finance AI). That is the widest spread of actual client types here, though the page does not list segments the way First Page Sage does.
Compliance review. The page says fintech is one of the most heavily regulated industries on the internet and that its content satisfies legal requirements. No named review step.
Proof. The largest named AI numbers on the list. Hebbia: about 4x AI visibility in nine months, with share of voice nearly tripled. Bluevine: 800+ citations in LLMs. Off-site, it claims 1,000+ relationships across finance publishers and news outlets.
Pricing and terms. Neither is published. Its GEO page says it is not a fit if you want gray-hat shortcuts, do not have a real product, or need results measured in weeks.
Limit. No price, no terms, no described compliance process, and the Hebbia headline is approximate on the page itself.
4. DerivateX: best for mid-market fintech SaaS that sells to banks
What it is. DerivateX is a small senior team led by co-founders Apoorv Sharma and Shivanshi Bhatia. Its fintech page is written for software companies whose buyers are banks: "Bank buyers paste your vendor evaluation form into ChatGPT and ask it to summarize."
What it does. Compliance-anchored comparison pages, an /llm-info/ page and Trust Center, bank and credit union case studies, and content that cites FDIC, OCC, SEC and FFIEC guidance. It runs your buyers' prompts across four LLMs and sends hallucination alerts. Off-site, it buys placements on domains it says fintech LLMs sample from (American Banker, PYMNTS, Crunchbase, r/fintech), 2 to 8 a month by tier, with no spend without your sign-off.
Segments. Mid-market fintech SaaS between $5M and $50M ARR: payments infrastructure, embedded finance, BaaS, lending, B2B accounting and tax, treasury, RegTech, expense management and AP/AR. Banks and credit unions are the buyer, not the client. No consumer finance.
Compliance review. It meets your legal team in week one, builds a pre-approved framework and ships inside it. The monitoring is the distinctive part: you know within 24 hours when any model starts misstating your posture, and it says accuracy improvements show in 4 to 8 weeks once the /llm-info/ and Trust Center pages ship. DerivateX claims, without a source on the page, that around 50 percent of AI answers misstate fintech compliance posture.
Proof. No fintech client with an AI result. The page calls its proof "financial-adjacent": Verito, managed IT for tax and accounting firms, went from position 40 to the AI's number one pick, with 12 ChatGPT number ones. The pricing page says "targets, not guarantees".
Pricing and terms. Flat retainers of $5,000, $8,000 and $12,000 a month. The off-site budget is separate: $1,000 to $1,200 a month at the entry tier, up to $2,000 to $3,000 at the top. A one-time $3,500 diagnostic if you are not ready for a retainer. The two lower tiers start as a 90-day pilot with no lock-in after it; the $12,000 tier has a six-month minimum.
Limit. $5M to $50M ARR B2B only, and the proof is adjacent rather than fintech. The 50 percent figure has nothing behind it on the page, so ask where it came from before you repeat it.
5. Mint Studios: best for a fintech-only content shop with named LLM results
What it is. Mint Studios works only with financial services and fintech companies. Araminta Robertson founded it in 2022, it has offices in Austin, Texas and Edinburgh, and it works in pods of three: a strategist, a writer and the founder. About ten people are listed.
What it does. Content strategy, expert-interview content, fintech SEO, and LLM visibility tracking. Monthly plans include GPT pieces, outreach, FAQs and a set number of backlinks. The LLM improvement work is described as pilots you can choose to join.
Segments. Late-stage fintech (Modulr, Persona, Yapily), established brands (Confused.com), compliance consultancies (fscom), embedded payments (Fiska) and FX (WorldFirst). Mostly B2B.
Compliance review. It says it knows how to work with compliance teams and write about complex financial topics. No process is described.
Proof. Two named fintech clients with LLM numbers. Fiska: LLM visibility from 4 to 53 percent across 50 key prompts in under a year, with LLM-attributed leads up from 3 a month in March 2025 to 14 a year later. WorldFirst: 27 to 53.4 percent for key buying prompts.
Pricing and terms. Two bands on two pages. The what-we-do page says clients typically spend $8,000 to $20,000 a month; the method page says $10,000 to $20,000. Engagements start with a two-week paid diagnostic.
Limit. A content agency first, with no technical SEO service line, and the LLM work is a pilot you opt into. Small team, two price bands.
6. Omnius: best for the most detailed accuracy protocol in writing
What it is. Omnius is headquartered in London with teams in Dubai and Belgrade and works only with SaaS, fintech and AI companies. It says it has 10+ years of B2B SEO work in fintech and onboards up to 8 clients a year.
What it does. An eight-step process. Step six is LLM and GEO optimisation: AI prompt analysis for fintech, AI Overview and AI Mode tracking, schema for financial products, llms.txt and monthly GEO reporting. Its GEO page names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini.
Segments. B2B only. The roster spans cross-border payments, sanctions screening, digital banking and embedded finance, with ANNA Money and Native Teams named.
Compliance review. Step eight is "Financial Content Accuracy & Compliance". Every piece goes through a fact-checking and sourcing protocol before publishing, with regulatory claims dated and attributed to a named author, under a YMYL review protocol that plugs into your own review. Backlinks and PR placements are checked too. This is the most detailed written protocol on the list.
Proof. The fintech page has no AI result with a number. A Native Teams testimonial mentions AI Overview improvements without a figure, and the fintech case study, Myos, is an SEO result: signups up 227.9 percent in six months. The AI number sits on its GEO page instead, where ANNA Money, labelled fintech and neobank, is credited with AI search up 164.44 percent and signups up 60 percent. Ask for the starting figures behind the percentages.
Pricing and terms. Not published; it has to assess your project to quote. It says it has no restrictive clauses.
Limit. No price, no AI number, and 8 clients a year means you may wait. B2B only.
7. Virayo: best for SEO and GEO together with a published minimum
What it is. Virayo is a B2B SaaS agency founded in 2018 by Jarod Ferguson and Robbie Richards. Six people are listed on its about page, and it says it keeps the roster deliberately small, with 100+ B2B SaaS clients since 2018.
What it does. AI search audits, SEO plus GEO, LLM source analysis, link building and digital PR, and tracking with its own tool. The fintech page says it monitors how LLMs describe your product, pricing and positioning and corrects the record where it drifts. Engines named: ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews. Off-site targets are G2, finance comparison sites and industry publications.
Segments. B2B fintech, from accounting and payments to retirement and lending platforms. Not for pre-PMF or seed-stage startups.
Compliance review. It builds your review process into the content workflow rather than fighting it, and says it knows how regulators shape what you can say. No named process.
Proof. No fintech AI number. The fintech case, ForUsAll, is an SEO result: monthly SQLs from 20 to 120 in ten months. The AI figure on its about page is for TestRail, a non-fintech client: 2,000+ monthly LLM referral visits.
Pricing and terms. Minimum $7,500 a month for combined SEO and GEO, with an initial six-month term, then month to month.
Limit. The six-month term is the longest minimum here apart from DerivateX's top tier, with no fintech AI result to weigh it against.
8. Optimist: best for in-house teams that want a consulting model
What it is. Optimist was founded in 2016 by Tyler Hakes, who takes the sales call himself. Its fintech page describes a full-service SEO agency for high-growth fintech companies, from Series A to IPO.
What it does. SEO strategy, AI search optimisation across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, content, technical SEO, link building and a monthly scorecard with AI visibility and AI-referred pipeline. Fintech case clients are Kubera (personal finance) and Stampli (AP automation).
Compliance review. Not published. Of the eight other agencies here, it is the only one with nothing on it.
Proof. An unnamed fintech client with 8x conversions from LLMs and 25x LLM referral traffic in six months. Kubera's result is SEO: 43x signups.
Pricing and terms. The fintech page publishes no price. Its contact form offers budget bands from $5,000 to $9,000 and $10,000 to $20,000, which are form options, not a price. The homepage does list a plan that starts at $3,000 a month, with weekly AI visibility tracking and a shared Slack channel; ask which plan that is. Engagements start with a free Organic Revenue Opportunity Report, then a one-time roadmap, then optional monthly advisory.
Limit. The fintech page says full service; the about page says "we don't take the keyboard" and refers production out to partners. Ask which one you are buying. The AI result is unnamed, the only published price is on the homepage rather than the fintech page, and there is nothing on compliance.
9. AEO Labs: best for off-site citation work next to a specialist, or a 30-day sprint first
What we are. A small specialist agency. AEO and the SEO underneath it are all we do. We have no fintech or financial services case study; our client work covers DTC and ecommerce, B2B SaaS, healthcare and multi-location services.
What we do. We start with the questions buyers ask AI, run across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, logging which sources each engine cites. Most of the effort then goes off your site: listicle placement, digital PR and contributed expert content on the domains the engines already trust. Our Reddit page says it is a poor fit for some regulated categories, and we would say so on the first call.
Compliance review. Not on our service page, because we have not run a fintech programme. If you hire us, put compliance approval of every piece and pitch in the contract, and give us your approved-claims list first.
Closest proof. InCorp is business formation and compliance, regulated but not fintech. Its non-branded organic traffic grew from about 2K to 22K in a year, which is a Google result, not an AI one. Our clearest AI result is in another category: ChatGPT ranked Try Create number one for "what is the best creatine gummy" in a logged-out US session on August 9, 2026, with the share link on the case study. For B2B software, Upsun was ChatGPT's number one for its primary prompt at the close of its 2025 engagement.
Pricing and terms. Not published. Every engagement starts with a 30-day sprint scoped to your brand, market and goals. It ends with a baseline, a plan and the first fixes shipped. From there the work continues as a retainer, or your own team takes the plan forward.
Where we are the wrong choice. If you are a consumer lender, a bank or an insurer, start with First Page Sage or Siege Media. If you need a fintech AI case study, Rock The Rankings, Siege Media and Mint Studios have one. If you need a written accuracy protocol, Omnius and First Page Sage publish theirs. Where we can help is the off-site half: getting a fintech onto the trade press, comparison pages and roundups the engines cite, alongside whichever specialist runs the site. Or a 30-day sprint that gives you a baseline and a plan before you sign a retainer with anyone.
What makes fintech AEO different
Claims get reviewed before they are published. In most categories an agency writes a page and ships it. In fintech the agencies above describe a step in between: First Page Sage verifies rate, term and regulation claims before your compliance review sees them, Rock The Rankings builds an approved-claims library in week one, Omnius dates and attributes each regulatory claim, and DerivateX agrees a framework with your legal team before shipping. If an agency's fintech page does not describe this step, you will be building it yourself.
Wrong answers are the fintech-specific risk. A model that states the wrong rate, fee or security posture can lose a deal before anyone at your company sees the answer. DerivateX claims, without a source on the page, that about half of AI answers misstate fintech compliance posture, and sells 24-hour alerts when a model drifts. Virayo monitors how LLMs describe pricing and positioning and corrects the record. Whichever you pick, ask how it will find a wrong answer about you and which sources it will fix.
Consumer and B2B fintech live on different surfaces. Siege Media's fintech work runs through finance publishers and affiliate partnerships, where consumer answers about investing apps and insurance get built. Rock The Rankings and DerivateX go after American Banker, Finextra, PYMNTS, G2 and Capterra, where a bank's procurement team looks. An agency that has only worked one side will not know the other side's sources.
The compliance team sets the pace. Rock The Rankings puts a number on it: clients typically go from a six-week review cycle to three or four days once the claims library and SLA are in place. If your compliance team reviews everything from scratch, content volume will not matter, because it will sit in a queue.
Most agencies here turn someone away. Rock The Rankings refuses consumer finance, neobanks and crypto. DerivateX takes only $5M to $50M ARR. Virayo turns away pre-PMF companies. Omnius takes 8 clients a year. Read the exclusions first.
What to ask before you sign
- Where is the compliance review step, and can I see it in writing? Four agencies here publish one. Ask the rest to match it in the contract.
- Who do you turn away? Consumer, B2B, ARR band, stage. If you are near the edge of the stated fit, ask what changes.
- Which prompts will you track, across which engines, and can I see the baseline? Rock The Rankings says five engines, DerivateX four, Siege Media three.
- Can I see a fintech client with an AI result and a starting number? Siege Media, Rock The Rankings and Mint Studios have named ones.
- How will you catch a wrong answer about our rates or security posture, and how fast? DerivateX says 24 hours.
- Which of your prices applies to me? Rock The Rankings and Mint Studios each publish two sets of figures.
- What happens if I stop? First Page Sage is month to month; Virayo has a six-month term; DerivateX's top tier has a six-month minimum.
The full checklist, with strong and weak answers, is in how to choose an AEO agency. If you sell software, the best AEO agencies for B2B SaaS list overlaps with this one. For another regulated vertical, see the best AEO agencies for healthcare.
Where to start
Take 20 questions your buyers would ask: "best embedded payments provider for a credit union", "is [your product] SOC 2 compliant", "[your product] vs [competitor] pricing". Run them through ChatGPT, Gemini and Google this week and write down who gets named, which sources are cited, and whether anything said about your rates or compliance posture is wrong. That is the core of an AEO audit, and you can do it yourself. If you want it done with a competitor benchmark and a plan, that is our AI visibility audit; the full agency offer is on the answer engine optimization page. Or book a call with Aidan.
