The short answer
We run AEO Labs, so read this as a list written by one of the agencies on it. We have tried to make it useful anyway. Every fact about another agency below comes from that agency's own website, checked on October 1, 2026. Where an agency does not publish something, we say "not published" and leave it there.
There is no single best AEO agency for ecommerce. The right one depends on your size, your platform and what else you want the same team to do:
- Growth-stage DTC brand that wants a specialist: AEO Labs.
- Large catalog with a content budget: Siege Media.
- You want AEO, paid and creative from one team: NoGood.
- You want a published price: OuterBox.
- You want development and SEO together: Coalition Technologies.
- You want reporting led by organic revenue: First Page Sage.
- You are on Shopify and want the build done too: Charle.
- Amazon and Walmart matter as much as your site: Sequence Commerce.
How we picked
We started from the agencies that Google and the AI engines themselves return for ecommerce AEO queries, then kept the ones with a real ecommerce offer on their own site. For each we read the service page, the ecommerce page, pricing, case studies and the about page.
We compared five things: whether there is an ecommerce-specific offer, whether a price is published, the contract terms, whether AI results are tied to a named client, and what else the agency does that an online store needs.
One thing shaped the list more than any other. When we sorted 90 days of AI citations for a beauty brand we track, the brand's own website was 5.8 percent of what the engines cited. Third-party editorial, community and reference sites were 59 percent.
So we looked hard at whether each agency does off-site work (digital PR, roundup placements, community) or only edits your own pages. The method is in our AI citation sources study.

1. AEO Labs: best for growth-stage DTC brands
What we are. A small specialist agency. AEO and the SEO underneath it are all we do. We have a dedicated AEO for ecommerce and DTC offer built around shopping prompts: the best-of, category and use-case questions buyers ask an AI assistant before they buy.
What we do for stores. We map the shopping prompts, fix product and category pages so a model can quote them, add product and review structured data, and then spend most of the effort off the site. That means placements in the product roundups engines cite, digital PR, and seeding the community threads the engines read.
Results you can check. For Try Create, a DTC supplement brand, ChatGPT ranked Create number one for "what is the best creatine gummy" when we captured it on August 9, 2026, a year after the engagement ended. The share link is on the case study, so you can open the answer on ChatGPT's own domain. For Lux Unfiltered, Gemini named the brand its best dye-free pick for "best tanning face drops". For iSleep, the client's own GA4 shows $12.8k in revenue from AI referrals across 71 orders over 11 months. That last number is small, and we print it as it is because it was measured.
Pricing and terms. Not published. Every engagement starts with a 30-day sprint scoped to the brand, and we quote after a first call.
Where we are the wrong choice. We do not run paid media, build Shopify themes or manage Amazon listings. If you want one agency for all of that, look at NoGood, Charle or Sequence Commerce below. If you are a household brand with a six-figure content budget, Siege Media has more people than we do.
2. Siege Media: best for large catalogs with a content budget
What it is. Siege Media has a dedicated ecommerce GEO page that combines technical SEO, citation-led GEO and affiliate partnerships. Offices are listed in Austin, New York, Chicago and San Francisco, with 50+ in-house marketers.
Results. The ecommerce page credits Instacart with 46.5K LLM citations, including 26K in AI Overviews, and Purple with 11.7K LLM citations, including 6.1K in AI Overviews. These are the largest named AI citation counts we found on any agency site.
Off-site work. Strong. Digital PR, research reports, Reddit marketing and affiliate partnerships are all listed services.
Pricing and terms. Not published. The GEO page says the service fits brands that can commit to a "6+ month horizon".
Limit. The proof is household names: Instacart, Purple, Airbnb, Shutterfly. A DTC brand doing a few million a year will not find a case study that looks like it.
3. NoGood: best when you want AEO, paid and creative together
What it is. NoGood is a growth agency based in New York with offices in Miami and Dubai and a team of 70+. AEO sits beside performance, social and creative.
Results. Its SteelSeries case study reports a 23x increase in year-over-year AI search traffic and a 27x increase in conversions from AI platforms.
Off-site work. The AEO page lists reputation management, digital PR and social citation strategy, along with schema and content.
Pricing and terms. The homepage FAQ says engagements are monthly retainers and the average retainer is above $20,000 a month. That figure covers all services. An AEO-only price is not published.
Limit. Budget, plainly. And the ecommerce page is a general growth page, so there is no ecommerce-specific AEO programme described.
4. OuterBox: best if you want a published price
What it is. OuterBox is an Akron, Ohio agency that started in 2004 and has a team of 300+. It works on ecommerce and lead generation SEO, with AI visibility treated as part of the SEO programme.
Pricing and terms. The clearest on this list. SEO packages are listed at $2,000 a month (Essentials), $3,000 (Pro) and from $7,000 (Enterprise), and Essentials bills month to month. AI and LLM visibility work is listed in the Pro tier.
Results. One AI revenue case study covers a DTC home gym retailer on Shopify whose AI search revenue rose 692 percent, comparing the first half of 2026 with 2025. The client is not named.
What else. Google Shopping feed management, structured data, and work on Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce and BigCommerce.
Limit. AI visibility work is listed from the Pro tier up, and the one AI revenue case is anonymous.
5. Coalition Technologies: best for SEO and development from one team
What it is. Coalition Technologies is a Los Angeles agency that shows a Shopify Premier Partner badge. Its ecommerce SEO page covers visibility in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and other LLMs alongside classic search.
Results. Several named AI figures, including Food Fire Knives with a 266.7 percent increase in AI-driven search sessions within five months.
Pricing and terms. No figure is published; pricing is by custom proposal. Its AI SEO page says long-term contracts are not required.
What else. Design and development on Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Magento.
Limit. The results are percent growth in AI sessions, which says little without the starting number. Ask for the baseline.
6. First Page Sage: best for revenue-led reporting
What it is. First Page Sage has a dedicated ecommerce SEO and GEO page covering DTC, luxury and specialty retail, and health and personal care. It says it has served 146 ecommerce clients.
Results. Its ecommerce case study is a DTC toy subscription company whose estimated annual SEO and GEO revenue went from $2.1M in year one to $6.3M in year three. The client is not named.
Pricing and terms. Month to month. No price is published, and the page says its rates are premium on purpose.
What else. Technical SEO for stores, including faceted navigation and product feeds.
Limit. Its own site puts the client mix at about 75 percent B2B, and there is no named ecommerce client with a published AI result.
7. Charle: best for Shopify and Shopify Plus
What it is. Charle is a London ecommerce agency established in 2018. It is a Shopify Plus Partner, and its GEO service is built only for Shopify.
What it does. GEO and content strategy on Shopify and Shopify Plus, tracked with tools that include Peec AI, alongside its Shopify design and development work.
Results. The GEO page lists "+164% AI Search Citations" for Cambridge Satchel and "+1,030% GEO Visibility Growth" for Rhute. No timeframe or method is given.
Pricing and terms. Not published. Ecommerce SEO is delivered on a monthly retainer.
Limit. Shopify only, and UK based. If your store is on another platform this is not your agency.
8. Sequence Commerce: best for marketplace-first brands
What it is. Sequence Commerce was founded in 2019 and describes 50+ marketplace specialists. Its work centres on Amazon, with Walmart, Target and TikTok alongside. It has a dedicated AEO and GEO page.
Pricing and terms. Not published. The AEO page shows a 30/60/90 sprint roadmap.
Limit. The team and most of the case studies are Amazon and advertising work. We could not verify an AEO result on its site well enough to print one.
Two more we looked at
Thrive Internet Marketing Agency offers AI SEO on month-to-month contracts. Its ecommerce AI case study is an unnamed shoe company whose sales from ChatGPT went from $0 to $1,756.
Onely is a technical SEO and GEO firm. It is a good fit when the problem is JavaScript rendering, migrations or international architecture. We found no named ecommerce AI result on its site.
What to ask before you sign
- Which prompts will you track, and can I see the baseline first? You want a named list of shopping prompts and where you stand on each today.
- How much of the work is off my site? If the answer is none, the agency is working on a small share of what engines cite.
- Can I open the proof? A share link on the engine's own domain beats a screenshot, and a screenshot beats a percentage.
- What is the starting number? A 266 percent rise from 30 sessions is 110 sessions.
- What happens if I stop? Month-to-month terms are common on this list. Ask what you keep.

Where to start
Run 20 of your own shopping prompts through ChatGPT and Gemini this week and write down who gets named. If you are missing, the next question is why, and that is what an audit answers. Ours is the AI visibility audit, and the full agency offer is on the answer engine optimization agency page.
