9 Best AEO Agencies for Cybersecurity Companies (2026)

Published November 4, 2026
Part of our complete guide: 10 Best AEO Agencies in 2026, Compared on Price, Terms and Proof
The short answer

Amplifyed is the strongest pick for most security vendors and MSSPs: it works only with cybersecurity companies, publishes a floor of $4,000 a month on month-to-month terms, and is the only agency here with a named cybersecurity client AI result (OffSec). First Page Sage fits midsize and enterprise security providers that want month-to-month terms and a long security client list. Siege Media fits well-funded security brands that want digital PR, affiliate publishers and data journalism. Foundation fits vendors whose buyers check Reddit and community threads. Growtika fits venture-backed security startups with compliance-heavy content. Obility fits B2B security and IT companies that want GEO next to paid media with an itemized price list. PayloadFoundry fits small Australian security firms and MSSPs that want a fixed-price baseline. Blend is a B2B AEO agency with security clients and ISO 27001, not a security specialist. AEO Labs (us) is last: we have no cybersecurity case study.

This list is for marketing leads at cybersecurity companies: product vendors, MSSPs and MSPs, and security services firms who want to be named when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google's AI results which vendor to shortlist. We run AEO Labs, and we are one of the nine agencies on it. We have no cybersecurity case study, so we have put ourselves last.

For the wider field outside security, see our main list of the best AEO agencies.

The short answer

There is no single best AEO agency for cybersecurity. The right pick depends on what kind of security company you are and how much you can spend:

  • A security vendor or MSSP that wants a cybersecurity-only team, a published price and no lock-in: Amplifyed. It is also the only agency here with a named cybersecurity AI result.
  • A midsize or enterprise security provider with a long sales cycle: First Page Sage, which lists 118 cybersecurity clients served and works month to month.
  • A well-funded security brand that wants digital PR and affiliate publishers: Siege Media.
  • A vendor whose buyers check r/cybersecurity and r/netsec before a demo: Foundation.
  • A venture-backed startup selling into SIEM, EDR or zero trust with SOC 2 and FedRAMP content to write: Growtika.
  • A B2B security or IT company that wants GEO and paid media from one team: Obility.
  • An Australian security firm or MSSP with 5 to 100 employees: PayloadFoundry.
  • A B2B company that wants AEO tied to HubSpot from an ISO 27001 certified agency: Blend.
  • A security company that wants off-site citation work, or a 30-day sprint before a retainer: AEO Labs, with the caveat above.

How we picked

We read each agency's own site and nothing else. Every fact below about another agency comes from its own pages, checked on November 2, 2026. We did not use third-party lists as a source, including the ones that rank for this search. Where an agency does not publish something, we write "not published".

We started from the agencies named on the four lists that rank for these searches, then added agencies with a dedicated cybersecurity AI search page. Three of those four lists are written by an agency that ranks itself first. That pattern is common: in our own study of 450 AI answers to best-agency questions, 1,504 of 3,192 web citations (47.1%) pointed to an agency's self-published list of agencies, and 319 of the 450 answers cited at least one page where the publisher ranks itself first. This list does it too, which is why we say so here.

We kept an agency if its own site showed cybersecurity work and an AI search offer. We dropped agencies whose cybersecurity page had no AI search content, whose AI page never mentioned security, or whose site we could not read. That left eight plus us. Siege Media, Growtika, Foundation and PayloadFoundry all have dedicated cybersecurity GEO pages, and none of the four ranking lists names them.

We compared six things:

  1. Who it serves. Product vendors, MSSPs, enterprise providers, or a region.
  2. Published price. From the agency's own pages only.
  3. Contract terms. Month to month, a minimum, or a stated horizon.
  4. A named AI result in cybersecurity. A named security client with an AI number, an aggregate figure, or an organic result.
  5. Off-site work. Reddit, digital PR, affiliate publishers, entity profiles. Most of what AI engines cite sits on other people's sites, so this matters more than page edits.
  6. Technical and compliance review. Security buyers punish a wrong claim about a certification or a capability. We noted what each agency says about checking claims before they ship.

1. Amplifyed: best for security vendors and MSSPs that want a specialist

What it is. Amplifyed calls itself "the only SEO agency in the world exclusively focused on cybersecurity", and its home page is its cybersecurity GEO and SEO page. It was founded in 2022, is based in Carlsbad, California, and runs fully remote with US-based strategists. Its about page lists 50+ clients currently served.

Who it serves. Cybersecurity platforms, consultants, MSSPs, VARs and MSPs. Named clients on the site include Cyware, OffSec, VMRay, Noma Security, Netcraft and Semperis. Each client gets one US-based strategist, with no account manager layer in between.

Results. This is the only agency on the list with a named cybersecurity client and an AI number. Its OffSec case study reports ChatGPT sessions up 2,400 percent and ChatGPT conversions (GA4 key events) up 4,900 percent. Its AI search visibility page adds that many clients get 10 percent of inbound leads through AI search, and that one unnamed client closed a 7-figure deal with a Fortune 100 company that started with an AI query.

Pricing and terms. Plans start at $4,000 a month and scale to enterprise. Plans default to month to month. The main KPI it names is SQLs, with AI visibility treated as a leading indicator.

Engines and off-site work. The AI page names ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. No tracking tool or prompt count is published. Off-site, Amplifyed handles backlink outreach and placement. It is also the official SEO and GEO partner of the Cybersecurity Marketing Society.

Limit. The GEO work is mostly on-page structure plus links. There is no Reddit, digital PR or affiliate program on the pages we read, and design is out of scope: the site says a new product page built from scratch "falls outside our sweet spot". The OffSec figures are percentages, so ask for the starting numbers.

2. First Page Sage: best for midsize and enterprise security providers

What it is. First Page Sage is a remote US agency that says it has led SEO marketing for 17 years. It has a dedicated cybersecurity SEO and GEO page and says it has served midsize and enterprise security providers "for well over a decade", with in-house W2 writers.

Who it serves. The page splits security buyers into segments: managed security and MDR, IAM and zero trust, data protection, and infrastructure security and consulting. It reports 118 cybersecurity clients served to date, 27 active, and an average cybersecurity client relationship of 3.4 years. No other agency here publishes a security client count that large.

Results. An aggregate figure: a 47 percent increase in cybersecurity client mentions in AI results. No client is named. The same page gives two different first-year ROI figures, 96 percent in its stats block and 39 percent in its FAQ, alongside 7.2 months to breakeven. Ask which one applies to a company like yours.

Pricing and terms. No price. The page says "Senior-level work is outside the budget. We stay premium on purpose." Terms are month to month, with a planning month before full production. Deliverables are seven a month with combined SEO and GEO, six with GEO alone, and they include brand authority PR and original research. It also sells Agentic Search Optimization.

Technical review. First Page Sage says it verifies capability and certification claims before publishing, which matters when a wrong line about FedRAMP or SOC 2 status can cost a deal.

Limit. It is a generalist across 48 industries, HVAC and law among them. The AI proof is an aggregate percentage. It turns away buyers with small budgets and buyers who want activity metrics. And it publishes its own ranking of cybersecurity GEO agencies with itself at number one, so weigh that list accordingly.

3. Siege Media: best for well-funded security brands that want PR at scale

What it is. Siege Media has a full-service cybersecurity GEO page. It lists offices in Austin, New York City, Chicago and San Francisco and 50+ marketers in-house. Ross Hudgens is founder and CEO. Its main GEO page lists cybersecurity next to SaaS, fintech, ecommerce, education and travel.

Security depth. The page says the team is trained on SOC 2 and endpoint security, and that the average cybersecurity client stays with Siege for over two years.

Results. In cybersecurity, the named cases are organic: Huntress with a 357 percent increase in monthly organic blog traffic and Secureframe with a 560 percent increase in organic blog traffic. Its named AI results are outside the vertical. Mentimeter got 250,000 ChatGPT visits and Grow Therapy nearly quadrupled its LLM visibility, according to its GEO page.

Off-site work. The deepest on this list. Siege lists 7,500+ media relationships for digital PR, recruits cybersecurity publishers and creators whose content LLMs already cite, runs data journalism on a client's own threat intelligence and survey data, and builds a disclosed, brand-forward Reddit presence. It tracks LLM share of voice in your category prompts monthly.

Pricing and terms. No price published. The GEO page says it fits brands that can commit to a 6+ month horizon, and that it is not a fit for buyers who want gray-hat shortcuts or results in weeks.

Limit. No published price, a six-month-plus horizon, and no cybersecurity client with an AI number on the site. If your proof bar is a named security result in ChatGPT, Amplifyed meets it and Siege does not yet.

4. Foundation: best for vendors whose buyers check Reddit and communities

What it is. Foundation is a B2B marketing agency in Philadelphia that has been operating since 2014 and doing community-driven B2B marketing since 2018. Its cybersecurity page is titled "The Cybersecurity Marketing Agency That Drives AI Visibility". Its client base covers B2B tech, professional services, manufacturing and higher education.

Off-site work. Foundation's cybersecurity page starts from the point that security buyers "validate in r/cybersecurity and r/netsec". It sells subreddit management, original research, earned media and YouTube. No other agency here describes community work for security buyers in that much detail.

Compliance and review. Compliance and claims constraints are documented during the audit, and everything technical goes through your subject matter experts before it ships. Reporting is monthly and covers citation share, brand mentions across LLMs, organic visibility and pipeline influence.

Results. No cybersecurity AI result. The page names Paychex and Dropbox as security-conscious enterprise brands it works with, but neither is a security vendor. Its case studies index says an integrated GEO program across on-site content, Reddit and YouTube strengthened Bitly's position in AI answers, with no number on the index.

Pricing and terms. Not published.

Limit. No price, no terms and no security vendor with an AI result. You would be buying the method, so ask for the closest B2B tech client and its numbers.

5. Growtika: best for venture-backed security startups

What it is. Growtika has a GEO page for cybersecurity headed "Get Cited When CISOs Ask AI". It was founded in 2019 by Yuval Halevi and Asaf Fybish, is based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, and works for B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, infrastructure and developer-first companies. It says it works with a small number of clients at a time.

Security scope. The most category-specific page we read. It tracks position across SIEM, EDR, SASE, zero trust and 50+ security categories, and builds compliance trust hub content for SOC 2, ISO 27001 and FedRAMP.

Engines. AI citation tracking across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, with per-engine timelines; for ChatGPT and Claude it states 60 to 90 days. Off-site, it lists digital PR and community, plus third-party presence and cross-source consistency.

Results. Its about page says it has generated over $30M in combined ARR for partner startups, which is not an AI figure. Its GEO case study says the client became the most-cited vendor in its category after 12 months, but the client is not named and the category is not stated as security.

Pricing and terms. Not published.

Limit. No price, no terms and no named AI result. Ask to speak to a security client before signing.

6. Obility: best for B2B security and IT companies that want GEO with paid media

What it is. Obility describes itself as a B2B GEO agency for tech and SaaS companies, alongside paid search, paid social and SEO. Cybersecurity and IT is one of its 10 B2B verticals, and its page covers "cybersecurity software to enterprise IT infrastructure". Mike Nierengarten is the founder. The about page roster lists about two dozen staff, including SEO and GEO specialists, and a site badge shows 4.8 from 27 reviews.

Buyer framing. The cybersecurity page names the buying committee directly: "Enterprise security purchases involve CISOs, security engineers, compliance teams, and procurement."

Pricing. The most itemized price list here. Every engagement starts with the SEO and GEO core at $5,450 a month. Add-ons are content at $400 a piece, Reddit Visibility at $2,500 a month, Brand Mentions at $1,000 a month with publisher fees passed through to the client, and YouTube Optimization at $1,500 a month, all on its pricing page.

Terms. Obility recommends 12-month agreements for its Ascent and Summit packages (paid media), with month to month possible at a higher fee. Its Guide plan is month to month. The term for the GEO core alone is not stated separately.

Results. Its named AI result is in SaaS, not security. For Boomi, in two months, 20 new pieces ranked in Google AI Overviews and 40 optimized posts surfaced in AI responses. Its ServicePower case has no number.

Engines. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews and Reddit.

Limit. No cybersecurity AI result, and paid media is the core of the business. If you only want GEO, compare the $5,450 core against Amplifyed's $4,000 floor.

7. PayloadFoundry: best for small Australian security firms and MSSPs

What it is. PayloadFoundry is a Sydney agency serving Australian cybersecurity firms, MSSPs, MSPs and technical services companies with 5 to 100 employees, and it takes "No clients outside our niche". It is founder-run by a systems and security engineer, with no account managers.

Pricing. A GEO Baseline Sprint costs AUD $3,900 one-off, ex-GST, over two weeks. Growth retainers start at Signal for AUD $5,500 a month, with Beacon at AUD $9,500 a month as the default and a top tier up to AUD $15,500 a month, per its services page and home page.

Terms. Retainers have a three-month minimum, then run month to month with 30 days notice. You get one free one-month pause per year.

Method. The sprint uses 30 real buyer prompts, three runs per engine across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, against five named competitors. Off-site, it runs an entity audit across Wikipedia, Wikidata, Crunchbase, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile.

Results. Unusually honest. Its InfosecSphere case study, a live engagement with a Sydney cybersecurity services firm, shows 0 citations at day 0 and 0 of 10 prompts cited at day 30, after 73 schema entities shipped across 14 pages. There is no positive AI result yet.

Limit. New, small and Australia only. No PR or Reddit offer and no paid ads. Its only published engagement had not produced a citation at day 30. The fixed-price sprint is still a cheap way to get a baseline if you fit its niche.

8. Blend: best for B2B companies that want AEO tied to HubSpot

What it is. Blend is a B2B agency with offices in Reading, UK and Cumming (Atlanta), Georgia. Its AEO page says it has helped 300+ businesses and runs a 100 percent in-house team with no white-label subcontracting.

What its own site shows about cybersecurity. Less than its search ranking suggests. Blend's AEO service page does not name cybersecurity. Its security work on its own site is a brand and HubSpot website project for Acre Security, a cloud and hybrid security company, which is not an AEO engagement. Blend is ISO 27001 certified, which it announced in 2023. Its explicit claims about AEO for cybersecurity appear in its own ranking of cybersecurity AEO agencies, where it places itself first, and we did not use that as a source. We list Blend as a B2B AEO agency with security clients, not a cybersecurity specialist.

Results. Its AEO proof of concept is its own site, not a client. Blend reports its AI presence rose from 17.1 percent to 34.7 percent across more than 500 commercial prompts over 90 days, AI-sourced MQLs grew 133 percent in Q4, and the work produced over $500k in pipeline.

Engines and tools. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Mode, tracked in Scrunch, with HubSpot for attribution. Off-site work is listed as entity and third-party mention building.

Pricing and terms. Not published on its service pages; its pricing link leads to a consultation booking.

Limit. No client AEO result on its site and no cybersecurity AEO result. Blend may suit you if you run on HubSpot and your security team wants a vendor with ISO 27001, but ask for a client AEO case before signing.

9. AEO Labs: best for off-site citation work, or a 30-day sprint first

What we are. A small specialist agency. AEO and the SEO underneath it are all we do. We have no cybersecurity case study, and our service pages say nothing about technical or compliance review for security claims. Our client work covers DTC and ecommerce, B2B software, healthcare and multi-location services.

What we do. Every answer engine optimization engagement starts from the questions buyers ask AI, seeded from what your sales team hears on real deals. Most clients end up with 80 to 150 tracked prompts. We run them through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews and log, per prompt, whether you are cited, at what position, which competitors are cited, and the source URLs. Then most of the effort goes off your site: digital PR, contributed expert content, inclusion in third-party best-of roundups, and original data that other writers reference.

Closest proof. B2B software, not security. For Upsun, a DevOps platform, ChatGPT ranked Upsun number one for "best overall structured DevOps platform" at the close of a six-month engagement in 2025, and Upsun gained 12 cited prompts and moved from no Perplexity coverage to the top three. That is a 2025 result and we do not claim it holds today. One case is relevant to security teams for a different reason. Cortico Health had GPTBot, PerplexityBot, ChatGPT-User and Google-Extended turned away at the robots.txt and CDN level without knowing it, and we had the crawlers back in within days. Security tools and CDN defaults add blocks like that quietly, and a security vendor's own stack is a likely place to find one.

Pricing and terms. Not published. Every engagement starts with a 30-day sprint scoped to your brand, market and goals. It ends with a baseline, a plan and the first fixes shipped. From there the work continues as a retainer, or your own team takes the plan forward.

Where we are the wrong choice. If you need an agency that has already moved a security brand in AI answers, hire Amplifyed. If you are a midsize or enterprise provider and want a long security client list and month-to-month terms, First Page Sage fits better. If your content needs technical and compliance review written into the process, Foundation and First Page Sage publish theirs and we do not. If you are a small Australian MSSP, PayloadFoundry is built for you. Where we can help is the off-site half, getting a security company onto the roundups and publications the engines already cite, beside whichever specialist runs your site. Or a 30-day sprint that gives you a baseline before you sign a retainer with anyone.

Others we looked at

  • Lengreo has a real cybersecurity AI search page, but its cybersecurity AI figures are not tied to a client, it publishes no price, and it is a generalist whose industries include crypto, gambling and real estate.
  • Evolv Agency has a cybersecurity SEO and generative search page but publishes no price, terms or named result.
  • Fuel Online has an enterprise cloud security AEO case study with numbers, but the client is not named and the agency is a generalist.
  • Stratabeat sells SEO and content to cybersecurity companies, but its cybersecurity page does not mention AI search.
  • BlueText lists cybersecurity as a core vertical and SEO/AEO as a service line, but has no AEO service page and no AI result.
  • Driven Metrics, Yes& Beacon and Ninepeaks appear on other lists, but their sites did not return readable pages when we checked.

What to ask before you sign

  1. Which security categories have you worked in? SIEM, EDR, IAM and MDR buyers ask different questions and read different sources. Growtika and First Page Sage name categories on their pages. Ask the rest.
  2. Can I see a named security client with an AI result and a starting number? Only Amplifyed publishes one. A percentage without a baseline tells you little.
  3. Who checks technical and compliance claims before they ship? A wrong statement about SOC 2, ISO 27001 or FedRAMP status in an AI answer is worse than no mention. Foundation routes technical content through your subject matter experts; First Page Sage says it verifies capability and certification claims.
  4. Which third-party sources will you target for my prompts? Analyst coverage, security publications, Reddit, review sites. If the plan is only page edits, the agency is working on a small share of what engines cite.
  5. Which engines, how many prompts, and how many runs? PayloadFoundry publishes 30 prompts and three runs per engine. Ask everyone else to state theirs.
  6. Are AI crawlers reaching our site? Security vendors run WAFs and bot protection. Ask the agency to check robots.txt and CDN rules in week one.
  7. What happens if I stop? Amplifyed and First Page Sage are month to month, PayloadFoundry has a three-month minimum, and Siege asks for six months or more.

The full checklist, with strong and weak answers, is in how to choose an AEO agency. If you sell security software, the best AEO agencies for B2B SaaS list overlaps with this one. For another vertical where claims get reviewed before publishing, see the best AEO agencies for fintech. If you are a large vendor with procurement and security review of your own suppliers, see the best enterprise AEO agencies.

Where to start

Write down 20 questions your buyers would ask: "best EDR for a mid-sized hospital", "top MSSPs for SOC 2 readiness", "[your product] vs [competitor]". Run them through ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini this week and note who gets named, which sources each engine cites, and whether anything said about your certifications or capabilities is wrong. That is the core of an AEO audit, and you can do it yourself. Take the results to two or three agencies on this list and ask each what it would do about the gaps. If you want us to run it with a competitor benchmark, that is our AI visibility audit.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AEO agency for a cybersecurity company?

It depends on what you sell and to whom. Amplifyed is the only agency here that works exclusively with cybersecurity companies and the only one that publishes a named cybersecurity client AI result: OffSec's ChatGPT sessions rose 2,400 percent and ChatGPT conversions (GA4 key events) rose 4,900 percent. First Page Sage reports 118 cybersecurity clients served and works month to month. Siege Media fits security brands that want PR and affiliate publishers at scale. PayloadFoundry fits small Australian security firms.

How much does a cybersecurity AEO agency cost?

Three of the nine agencies here publish a price. Amplifyed starts at $4,000 a month. Obility's SEO and GEO core is $5,450 a month, with listed add-ons such as Reddit Visibility at $2,500 a month and Brand Mentions at $1,000 a month plus publisher fees. PayloadFoundry charges AUD $3,900 ex-GST for a two-week baseline sprint and AUD $5,500 to $15,500 a month for retainers. First Page Sage, Siege Media, Foundation, Growtika, Blend and AEO Labs do not publish a price on their service pages.

Which cybersecurity AEO agencies work month to month?

Amplifyed defaults to month to month. First Page Sage is month to month, with a planning month first. PayloadFoundry has a three-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days notice and one free one-month pause a year. Obility recommends 12-month agreements on its paid media packages and offers month to month at a higher fee. Siege Media asks for a six-month or longer horizon. AEO Labs starts every engagement with a 30-day sprint. Growtika, Foundation and Blend do not publish terms.

Which agencies have a named cybersecurity AI result?

Only Amplifyed, with its OffSec case study. First Page Sage publishes an aggregate figure, a 47 percent increase in cybersecurity client mentions in AI results, with no client named. Siege Media's named cybersecurity cases, Huntress and Secureframe, are organic blog traffic results, not AI ones. PayloadFoundry publishes a live engagement with InfosecSphere that showed 0 of 10 prompts cited at day 30. Growtika, Foundation, Obility, Blend and AEO Labs publish no cybersecurity AI result.

Is a cybersecurity-only agency better than a B2B generalist?

Not always. A specialist such as Amplifyed or PayloadFoundry knows the categories and buyers already. A B2B agency such as Foundation, Siege Media or Obility may bring off-site programs (Reddit, digital PR, affiliate publishers) that the specialists do not offer. Ask each one which security categories it has worked in and which third-party sources it would target for your prompts.

How do I check a cybersecurity AEO agency's claims?

Ask for the named client, the exact prompts, the engines and the starting number. Percent growth without a baseline says little. Then ask how technical and compliance claims get reviewed before anything ships. Foundation routes technical content through client subject matter experts and documents compliance and claims constraints, and First Page Sage says it verifies capability and certification claims before publishing.

Why is AEO Labs last on its own list?

Because we have no cybersecurity case study, and several agencies above us work only in cybersecurity or have long security client lists. Our closest work is B2B software: Upsun, a DevOps platform, was ChatGPT's number one pick for its primary prompt at the close of its 2025 engagement. If you need proof in your own category, start higher on this list.
