The short answer
Otterly.ai publishes its prices, which already puts it ahead of much of this category. As of August 2026 there are four tiers:
| Plan | Monthly | Annual (effective /mo) | Tracked prompts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29/mo | ~$25/mo | 15 |
| Standard | $189/mo | ~$160/mo | 100 |
| Premium | $489/mo | ~$422/mo | 400 |
| Enterprise | From ~$1,000/mo | Custom | Customizable |
Annual billing takes roughly 15 percent off. Every plan includes unlimited team members, unlimited brand reports, multi-country tracking across 50-plus markets, the prompt research tool, brand visibility index, domain ranking, link citation analysis, and GEO audit.
That is the part every review covers. Here is the part that decides your actual bill: three of the engines you probably care about are not in the base price.
The add-ons are the story
Otterly includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot on every paid plan. Claude, Google Gemini, and Google AI Mode are sold as separate add-ons, and they are priced per tier rather than as a flat fee.
| Add-on | On Lite | On Standard | On Premium |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude | $29/mo | $109/mo | $439/mo |
| Google Gemini | $9/mo | $59/mo | $149/mo |
| Google AI Mode | $9/mo | $59/mo | $149/mo |
| Extra 100 prompts | Not offered | $99/mo | $99/mo |
Read the Claude column again. On Premium, the Claude add-on alone costs $439/mo, which is nearly the price of the plan it attaches to. Stack all three engine add-ons onto each tier and the real cost of full coverage looks like this:
| Plan | Base | All three engine add-ons | All-in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29 | $47 | $76/mo |
| Standard | $189 | $227 | $416/mo |
| Premium | $489 | $737 | $1,226/mo |
If you are heading toward full engine coverage at Premium volume, get the Enterprise quote before you buy Premium. The stacked add-on route can cost more than the tier above it while delivering less.
Per-prompt economics: the cheap tier is the expensive one
Divide price by tracked prompts and the intuition about Lite being the budget option gets complicated:
| Plan | Monthly | Prompts | Cost per prompt |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29 | 15 | ~$1.93 |
| Standard | $189 | 100 | ~$1.89 |
| Premium | $489 | 400 | ~$1.22 |
Lite is the most expensive way to track a prompt, and Premium is the cheapest. That is ordinary SaaS volume pricing, but it matters when you are deciding whether to start small. Lite is not a cheap version of the programme; it is a proof of concept. Fifteen prompts is enough to establish whether the engines mention you at all in your category, and not much more.
The other jump worth planning for is Lite to Standard: $29 to $189 is a more than sixfold increase to go from 15 to 100 prompts, with nothing in between. The month your prompt set outgrows 15, your bill changes character entirely.
What you get on every plan
Some things Otterly does not meter, which is worth crediting because much of this category does:
- Unlimited team members. No per-seat maths. For an agency or a marketing team with stakeholders who want dashboard access, this is a real cost saving against tools that charge per user.
- Unlimited brand reports. You are metered on prompts, not on the number of brands you point them at.
- Multi-country support across 50-plus markets. Useful if your category behaves differently by region, which most do.
- The full analysis set. Prompt research tool, brand visibility index, domain ranking, link citation analysis, and GEO audit are included rather than upsold.
Standard and above add API access, MCP access, and Agent Analytics. If you want to pull Otterly data into your own reporting, Lite will not do it.
How Otterly pricing compares
The headline comparison flatters Otterly. The all-in comparison is closer.
| Tool | Entry price | Engines in base price | Seat policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly.ai | $29/mo (15 prompts) | 4 (Claude, Gemini, AI Mode extra) | Unlimited |
| Peec AI | $95/mo (50 prompts) | 6 | Unlimited on paid plans |
| Profound | $99/mo (50 prompts) | 1 (ChatGPT only) | 1 seat at entry |
| Scrunch AI | ~$250/mo (reported) | Multi-engine | Not published |
Against Peec AI, Otterly wins decisively on entry price and loses on included coverage: Peec bundles six engines at $95 where Otterly bundles four at $29 and charges for the rest. Once you add Gemini and Claude to a Standard plan, the two are much closer than the sticker prices suggest. Against Profound, whose $99 Starter tier tracks ChatGPT alone, Otterly's four-engine base is the better-value entry by a distance.
The honest summary: Otterly is the cheapest credible way into this category, and it stays cheap as long as ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Copilot cover your buyers. The moment Gemini or Claude matters to you, re-run the maths before assuming Otterly is still the budget pick. Which tier should you buy
- Testing whether AI search matters for you at all: Lite, $29/mo, no add-ons. Fifteen prompts, four engines, one month. If nothing shows up, you have learned something for the price of lunch.
- Running a real single-brand programme: Standard at $189/mo, plus whichever engine add-ons your buyers actually use. Budget $250 to $416/mo depending on coverage.
- Multi-market or large prompt sets: Premium at $489/mo, but price Enterprise first if you need all three add-ons, because $1,226 all-in is above where Enterprise starts.
- Security review, SSO, or procurement involvement: Enterprise. Neither of the mid tiers carries SSO.
Key takeaways
- Otterly.ai publishes four tiers: Lite $29/mo (15 prompts), Standard $189/mo (100), Premium $489/mo (400), Enterprise from around $1,000/mo. Annual billing saves roughly 15 percent.
- ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Microsoft Copilot are included. Claude, Google Gemini, and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons priced per tier.
- Full coverage costs $76/mo on Lite, $416/mo on Standard, and about $1,226/mo on Premium.
- Premium plus all add-ons costs more than Enterprise starts at, so get the Enterprise quote before committing to that path.
- Per prompt, Lite is the most expensive tier and Premium the cheapest. Lite is a proof of concept, not a small programme.
- Unlimited seats and unlimited brand reports on every plan are a genuine advantage over per-seat competitors.

The tool measures. The work moves the number.
Whichever tier you land on, remember what you are buying: a measurement system. Otterly will tell you how often the engines mention and cite you, and it will not change either number. Our own tracking across three unrelated verticals found that a brand's own website accounts for only 2 to 6 percent of the sources AI engines cite about it, with third-party sites making up 26 to 59 percent. The tool shows you which third-party pages are winning your category. Going and earning a place on them is the actual work.
